Ensuring road safety is a mandatory task for every road user. This especially applies to special equipment, for example security, police, fire, operational and pyrotechnic services. Functions

Control is carried out using a wired manipulator. It is equipped with a microphone for playing sound on the loudspeaker, as well as 6 buttons for controlling light and sound signals:

1. On/off.
2. Switching between 3 siren modes (Wail, Yelp, Hi-Lo).
3. Air Horn key.
4. 2 channels for controlling two light elements.
5. Button for turning on light and sound signals (for 10 seconds to pass through the intersection).

Control keysheadlights, can be connected both to LED strobe lights and to a flashing beacon on the roof of the car.

Installation and connection

The amplifier is installed in the car interior, as a rule, under the instrument panel. The power cable is connected either directly to the battery or to the cigarette lighter socket.

The manipulator microphone is connected to the block using an extension cord. There is a special mount for it, which can be installed on the instrument panelcar.

The speaker is intended for installation on the roof of the vehicle.

There are 2 screws included with the stroboscope, which are used to mount them in/behind the grille of the car.

Legal Use

You can buy special sound and light devices without any problems. But for their installation and operation on a separate vehicle, a permit is required.

Flash lights come in white, yellow, blue and red colors. According to Ukrainian legislation:

• red strobe lights have the right to be used only by cars of the patrol police or other units of the National Police, which are entrusted with the responsibilities of ensuring road traffic safety;
• blue beaconscan be attached to cars for the transportation of persons subject to state protection, and to vehicles intended for operational tasks;
• yellow ones are installed on the car of the security services;

Permission to use special sound signaling devices, as well as blue or yellow "flashers" can be obtained at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine by submitting a list of the necessary documents (it can be obtained on the Diya portal). This service costs UAH 68, and the term of provision is 10 working days. Fine for illegal use of special signals - UAH 8,500 with confiscation of devices.
