Already in the basic configuration, the pickup can boast a panoramic roof that adds space and light to the cabin, a modern 10-inch digital instrument panel that provides the driver with all the necessary information in a convenient format, and a large 14.6-inch touch screen for controlling the multimedia system and other car functions. Among the available options that increase the level of comfort, it is worth noting the front seats with heating, ventilation and even a massage function, which will be especially useful during long trips.
Frontier Pro developers paid special attention to the needs of customers who lead an active lifestyle and often use the pickup not only for work, but also for outdoor recreation. That is why the equipment includes practical rails on the roof, a convenient retractable cover of the cargo compartment, which will protect the cargo from bad weather and prying eyes, as well as a unique feature - a built-in on-board generator capable of producing up to an impressive 6 kilowatts of power to power a variety of external equipment. It can be useful on a construction site or while camping, providing power for tools, lighting or even household appliances.
Propulsion
The heart of the Nissan Frontier Pro is an innovative hybrid power plant that combines an efficient 1.5-liter turbo engine with a powerful electric motor mounted directly in the transmission. Thanks to this combination, the combined power of the pickup reaches an impressive 408 horsepower, and the maximum torque is a significant 800 Nm. The drive in the Frontier Pro is all-wheel drive, which provides excellent cross-country ability on various types of surfaces. In addition, buyers will have the option of equipping the rear differential lock, which will significantly improve the off-road capabilities of the pickup in difficult conditions. One of the key advantages of the plug-in hybrid installation is the ability to move on pure electric power, which has a range of up to 135 kilometers, which is quite enough for daily trips around the city without using gasoline. Four driving modes are available to the driver for optimal control of driving dynamics in various situations: Hybrid (hybrid mode), Pure Electric (electric traction only), Performance (maximum performance) and Snow (mode for slippery surfaces).
Start of sales
It is important to note that the Nissan Frontier Pro has already become the second electrified model in the new strategic line of "new energy cars" from Nissan, following the compact electric car N7. The Japanese automaker has ambitious plans for the electrification of its model range in China and has announced its intention to bring nine new electrified models to the Chinese market by the summer of 2027. Unfortunately, at this time, no official information has been released regarding the potential export of the Frontier Pro to other global markets, including Europe and North America.
