In an effort to diversify its model range,Mitsubishi, is rumored to introduce a new version of the Outlander Ralliart in 2024 with impressive power286 horsepower- a significant increase over the current 248 horsepower. The SUV is focused on performance, and in addition to its aggressive appearance, it will be more rigidreinforced suspensionand other functional changes. To achieve the increased power, Mitsubishi will make changes to the plug-in hybrid drivetrain under the hood.

The new Ralliart Outlander will have real improvements, and not just additions to the body and cosmetic improvements. Most likely, engineers will work on either an internal combustion engine, which is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, or a pair of electric motors to increase the power output. The standard Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is equipped with an 85-kilowatt front electric motor and a 100-kilowatt rear electric motor, which together provide a torque of 450 Nm. However, the report says nothing about the torque change.

With the Vision Ralliart concept car shown at last year's Tokyo Motor Show, Mitsubishi has already given car enthusiasts a glimpse of the possibilities. This concept car was distinguished by a bulky body kit and was installed on22-inch wheelswith improvedbrake discsand six-piston brake calipers. It was claimed to offer "improved acceleration, cornering and braking in all road and weather conditions". "Increased engine power" was also promised, although no details were given.

The new Ralliart Outlander will be a full-featured version with more significant improvements, although Mitsubishi has already released modifications of the Ralliart Outlander, the Outlander PHEV,Eclipse Cross, Outlander Sport and Mirage in the US for the 2023 model year.
