- Secrets of installation and operation
Before choosing a stabilizer for charging an electric car, check your wiring. There is no point in installing a powerful appliance if there is a thin wire leading to the outlet that heats up.
- Grounding: This is critical! Most electric cars (especially Tesla and Renault Zoe) simply will not start charging if the stabilizer or socket is not properly grounded.
- Place of installation: Stabilizer emits heat. Do not close it in closed cabinets. Choose a ventilated room or garage.
- Through mode (Bypass): Useful if the stabilizer fails — you can run current directly while the device is being repaired.
