The premium SUV from Toyota 2022 has passed safety tests from the Australian organization ANCAP.The tests are relevant for all configurations except for the GR Sport version. The equipment of the tested cars included:
- 2 frontal airbags;
- side ones to protect the chest and head;
- lower ones to protect the knees of the passenger and the driver.
From the equipment is also presentemergency braking system with lane keeping assistant and the ability to move in the flow. There were also lane departure warning functions and an emergency lane keeping system with speed control.

Thanks to the use of a new platformTNGA-F, the engineers managed not only to improve the results when passing tougher standards, but also to introduce new safety technologies.

Based on the results, ANCAP assigned a large SUV89%for the protection of adult passengers and88%for the protection of children. Both scores are very good for their class. Land Cruiser 300 received81 percentfor the protection of vulnerable road users (pedestrians), which, again, is impressive for such a large vehicle. He also achieved77%for its on-board active safety mechanisms.

Despite the large dimensions, the safety features of the new generation Toyota Land Cruiser laid out by Toyota specialists are very impressive. Well, we have to wait for the verdict from EuroNCAP, the regulations of which have recently been updated and are now one of the most demanding among such organizations.
We will remind thatLand Cruiser 300 was presented last yearand is already available for purchase on the Ukrainian market, and the queue in the world for a new luxury SUV stretched for several years.
