Lexus, as always, makes us surprised with its novelties. This time, the company presented a new generation of the GX model. The novelty has many new functions and improvements that will make it more efficient and comfortable for drivers and passengers compared tolast generation Lexus GX.
The company is expanding its lineup with new models, including the LM minivan, as well as the upcoming release of the TX, a new SUV designed for the American market. The new GX is winning over customers in many regions, including the Ukrainian market (where Lexus has a significant niche and is quite popular), demonstrating Lexus' commitment to creating state-of-the-art vehicles that meet a variety of customer preferences.The next-generation GX 550 will go on sale soon, starting in North America.
Lexus GX 2024 is built on a platformTNGA-F, which is used to create the modelToyota Land Cruiser 300, and is based on the popular Toyota LC300 SUV. Future Toyota models will also be built using the same platform. The car has a length of 4,950 mm, a width of 1,980 mm, a height of 1,865 mm and a long wheelbase of 2,850 mm. It is available in seven- and six-seater variants, for a total of six different modifications.
The main change in this model is the new V6 engine in the new generation GX 550, which replaced the V8 engine. It is equipped3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which develops a maximum power of 344 hp. and 648 Nm of torque. A new four-wheel drive is also offered (as in the Land Cruiser 300), and the engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, it is reported that the same car will be offered with a 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine with hybrid technology.
The car has premium features, including two large screens, one of which is offered with a diagonal of 12.3 inches and the other with 14 inches. The first serves as an information screen for the driver, and the second serves as an infotainment system. Many intelligent driver assistance and safety features are also provided.
Lexus plans to release two special versions soonOvertrailandOvertrail Plus, both of which will be purely off-road.
