The legendary Dakar 2022 racewill be held in Saudi Arabia from January 2 to 14. This is the 44th season in a row and the third in a row in this country, but unlike previous years' competition held near the Red Sea, this race carries the slogan "Call of the desert" and will be located in the sand dunes and the center of the peninsula. And three stages will take place in the spectacular dunes of the Rub-el-Khali desert.
The start of the race took place in Hail, and the last stage will end in Jeddah. This year, the Dakar 2022 race is held in the following divisions:

- SUVs;
- ATVs;
- motorcycles
