The last Mitsubishi Pajero rolled off the assembly line in 2021. To the great regret of the fans, the Japanese automaker decided to discontinue the production of the legendary SUV, which once stood in the same row as the equally iconicToyota Land Cruiserand Nissan Patrol. The model existed for almost 40 years and had 4 generations. But some off-road enthusiasts do not lose hope for the revival of the beloved "Pajerik" in the future. So, a rendering of the image appeared on the network, on which you can evaluate how the 5th generation Mitsubishi Pajero could look, if the model continued to be produced.

The exterior of the car unmistakably features the features of Mitsubishi's modern corporate design. The front end is clearly inspired by the 4th generation Outlander. We can see a similar configuration of optics on other modern models of the brand, such as the new L200 pickup truck.

In profile and at the back, the rendering is a bit reminiscent of the latest Land Rover Discovery. First of all, this applies to the rear lights and the outer casing of the spare wheel. At the same time, the continuity with the previous one is felt in the silhouettePajero.

Despite the cult status of this model, Mitsubishi Motors had to sell its Pajero Manufacturing plant for $34 million. In addition to the mentioned SUV, Toyota and Honda cars were also produced there. And although the range of Mitsubishi off-road models has narrowed, the brand still has models in its range that are capable of conquering off-road. For example, the already mentioned L200, as well as the Pajero's younger brother, the Pajero Sport. In particular, fans of the brand have high hopes for the future iteration of this frame SUV.
