Nissan X-Trail 2023 for Europe is officially represented. What is new?

Two years ago, Nissan showed the twin brother of this crossover for the US market - the Rogue, which is already successfully sold in the North American market. But the European version was delayed with the change of generation. And so, in 2022, the company will present the followingthe fourth generationpopular crossover.

From the American brother, the European received quite a lot of solutions, including optics divided into two blocks, a branded V-Motion grille and a salon with large displays.

First of all, it is interesting to know what is under the hood. Installed in this modelmodern hybrid e-POWERwith a 1.5-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with 140 hp. But, unfortunately, it does not supplement the battery, but acts exclusively as a generator for the electrical installation. The front-wheel drive version of the car is driven by a 198-hp electric motor. The all-wheel drive version received another engine on the rear axle, which adds 132 horsepower. Such a combination will work independently of each other, according to the company's traction distribution technology between the wheels - e-4ORCE. Costthe front-wheel drive solution is claimed at the level of 5 l/100 km, while the all-wheel drive will add 0.5 liters per 100 km of travel.

By the way, the old Rogue engine is also available on the US market - a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated 184 hp. For all versions and markets, the engine is paired with a CVT gearbox.

As for the interior, the X-Trail offers a comfortable and modern interior with12.3-inch displays of the instrument panel and multimedia system. As an option, a 10.8" projection screen is also available. For the convenience of the driver, the Nissan Safety Assist 360 all-round view system and the semi-autonomous driving system included in the Nissan ProPILOT package will be available.

Besides,many customization options are available to the buyer, which include various types of fabric and leather (including premium Nappa), as well as modern water-repellent material - Cell-Cloth. The company claims that in the 5-seater configuration, the volume of the trunk will be the largest in the segment. A 7-seater version should also appear on European markets.

The crossover will appear in salons already this fall. Prices for the European and Ukrainian markets are not yet known, but for Japan, the price of the Nissan X-Trail 2023 starts from 22,700 to 32,000 euros.
