More recently, Nissan presented the new generation of the Rogue crossover (also known as X-Trail) to the general public. The car radically changed its appearance, acquired a large stock of options and became one of the most technological "off-road vehicles" on the North American market.
The dimensions of the crossover built on the updated CMF-C / D trolley turned out to be slightly smaller than that of its predecessor: the wheelbase decreased by 2.5 mm, and the width and length decreased by 53 and 43 mm, respectively. At the same time, due to the new chassis, the free space for passengers in the rear seats has increased. However, it should be noted that the new Nissan X-Trail does not have a third row of seats, unlike the current model.
The appearance of the crossover has also changed. The new Nissan was equipped with two-story LED main optics, a transformed radiator grille with a double V-shaped edging and automatic blinds. Also, for the first time, two-color variants of body color appeared. Wheels with a diameter from 43 cm to 48 cm are available to choose from.
They did not forget about the transformation of the interior of the car - the traditional gear lever was changed to a convenient joystick, and the standard central tunnel - to a two-level one with a roomy niche. The front panel of the car was radically redesigned: a projection display with a diameter of 27 cm was installed and the Touch Screen multimedia system was enlarged from 7 to 23 centimeters.
The volume of the trunk remained the same - 1113 liters, but with folded seats it became more - 2098 liters against 1982 liters. The main feature of the updated Nissan is the electric five-door, which is easily activated by foot.
The standard configuration of the crossover includes ten airbags and the Safety Shield 360 complex. It is also equipped with three-zone climate control, heated steering wheel and rear row, all-round cameras and advanced ProPilot semi-autopilot with adaptive cruise control.
So far, there have been no significant changes in the engine part. The car is equipped with a gasoline four-cylinder engine with a volume of 2.5 liters and a capacity of 184 horsepower. The torque is 245 Nm.
For the front-wheel-drive versions of Nissan, three mobile modes are provided - Standart, Eco and Sport, and for the all-wheel-drive versions, Off-road and Snow have been added.
It will be possible to buy Nissan Rogue in the USA already in the fall. The company will announce prices closer to the start of sales. As for the European market, it is assumed that the car will appear on it no earlier than the winter of next year.
