The stylish and completely new crossover Volkswagen Tayron X is getting ready to enter the Chinese market.
The novelty features a coupe-like silhouette of the body and a sporty R-line body kit, which is already included in the basic version of the car. In addition, the crossover was equipped with cast 19-inch wheels with a unique design.
The dimensions of the Tayron X are almost identical to the Toyota RAV4, but it is one step higher in the Volkswagen model range. The base length is 462.6 cm with a wheelbase of 273 cm, the width is 186 cm, and the height is 166.2 cm.
The engine part of the Volkswagen Tayron X includes a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 186 horsepower. The second version of the same engine is forced to 220 l / s. The DSG7 high-speed robotic transmission is used as a transmission. The basic supply of the car consists of front-wheel drive, however, for a separate fee you can get the all-wheel drive modification 4Motion.
They did not forget to transform the interior of the crossover. Tayron X was equipped with virtual trim, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, emergency braking and a modern multimedia system with a large screen. LED optics and all-round cameras were also installed.
In China, car sales will start already this summer. The starting price for the base SUV is $28,200. It is not yet known when the Volkswagen Tayron X will reach the European market.
