New Toyota Tundra without camouflage
We will remind that Toyota released the first official photo of the new 2022 Tundra model in the TRD Pro version back in June, but what the regular version will look like without tuning body kits was not yet known.
Recently, a user with the nickname Carsoops Nick D posted on the Internet pictures of the third generation without camouflage, which he took by chance seeing the car in a parking lot.
From the outside, the 2022 Toyota Tundra will receive an all-new panel with horizontal headlights that include Y-shaped light elements and a massive central grille that extends to the bumper.
Most likely, it is presented in the photoDouble Cab version, judging by the length of the rear doors. Currently, the second generation XK50 is produced in 3 versions:
- Double Cab- standard four-door version of the pickup truck.
- CrewMax- four-door model with an extended cabin for rear passengers.
- Regular Cab- two-door version (manufactured until 2014).
The rear has also been restyled with more prominent C-shaped taillights, a new bumper and a more pronounced rear wing line.
These images of the 2022 Toyota Tundra give us a look at both the new exterior and the updated interior, where we find that the new pickup's cabin now includes a large central infotainment screen that sits high and protrudes slightly from the main dash. On the sides of the screen there are new rectangular ventilation holes, and below the screen there is a panel with buttons.
As for the specifications, the 2022 Toyota Tundra is expected to be powered by a new twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces more than 400 horsepower, from the newToyota Land Cruiser 300, which will replace the 5.7-liter V8 that is installed in the current generation Tundra. Also, in the rear part of the pickup, instead of leaf springs, springs will be installed and a sliding hatch in the rear window will appear, and in some versions, a panoramic roof will also appear.
The date of the public presentation has not yet been revealed.
