Renault officially presented the new Duster in Ukraine. The third generation of the crossover has taken a significant step forward in all aspects compared to its predecessor and has every chance to become a new bestseller. The car is built on the new CMF-B platform, thanks to which it has become safer, more manageable and more comfortable.
Exterior and interior
The 2024 Duster looks both new and recognizable. The exterior has become more modern and aggressive. It clearly expresses the new style of the brand. At the same time, the designers transferred the characteristic features of past generations into the design. For example, plastic inserts on the doors and wheel arches, some of which are now made from recycled materials.
It is worth noting that the new Duster has two variants of the front bumper depending on the drive. The all-wheel drive version has better entry angles, and the front-wheel drive has a shape with better aerodynamics.
The car can be equipped with branded discs with a diagonal of 16-18 inches.
In the interior of the crossover, fairly budget materials are used, but thanks to the good work of the designers, the interior is perceived as a head higher than the old oneDuster. Thanks to the modern platform, the salon has become noticeably more spacious. The volume of the trunk has also increased — from 478 to 542 liters.
Options such as a heated steering wheel, wireless charging of gadgets, a 7-inch digital dashboard, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto services are available.
Technical characteristics
Several power plants will be available in Ukraine:
- A mild hybrid (MHEV) based on a 1.2-liter TCe gasoline engine with a total power of 130 hp.
- 1.3-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 150 hp.
- 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel with a capacity of 115 hp.
The gasoline model is offered in a pair with a 7-speed "robot" EDC. And the hybrid and diesel versions are equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The situation with drives is as follows: according to the presented configurations, hybrid cars will be equipped with all-wheel drive, and gasoline and diesel versions will be available only with front-wheel drive.
At the same time, the all-wheel drive Renault Duster has an increased ground clearance of 217 mm, while the front-wheel drive has 209 mm.
To help the driver off-road, the crossover has a smart drive management system with 5 driving modes designed for different road conditions. A tilt meter, 360-degree view cameras, and electronic assistants for descent and ascent will also come in handy.

The car is offered in three configurations: Authentic, Evolution and Techno.
The price of the 3rd generation Renault Duster in Ukraine starts at UAH 830,000. In the lower configuration, there are gasoline and diesel diesel engines. And the hybrid version is available starting from the middle configuration. It will also be possible to equip the car with an advanced multimedia system and a digital instrument panel.
