Chinese photo spies have taken a first look inside the new collaborative pickup truckDongfeng andNissan. The project, which received the in-house code P20, will be the result of cooperation between the two companies, and the car will be produced at a joint venture.

It is expected that the novelty will see the light in 2024, and it will be available in gasoline, diesel, hybrid and even hydrogen versions. And it can be assumed that, as in the case ofPeugeot Landtrek / Kaicene F70, this pickup will be the Chinese version of the new generationNissan Navara 2025, which will replacecurrent generation Navara D23.

The car's exterior was partially revealed last fall in official sketches, and the latest images of the prototypes confirm that the pickup's design will remain largely unchanged. The interior of the car attracts special attention: its finish meets the premium standards of the Chinese market. Photo spies noted that the front panel of the car is very similar to the panel of the eπ 008 crossover.

It is known that the new Dongfeng-Nissan flagship pick-up will have the function of reversing on the spot, all-round cameras with the option of a "transparent" hood, as well as various electronic assistants. However, full digitization is not foreseen: the prototypes retained massive door handles, analog buttons and a multi-function steering wheel with physical keys.

Information about the dimensions, characteristics of the power plant and other details may appear thanks to the Chinese certification authorities. China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology usually discloses this data shortly before mass production begins. Interestingly, there are rumors among experts that this pickup will be the Chinese version of the next-generation Nissan Navara 2025, which only increases interest in the project.
