Public organizationOffroadbrotherslaunched a project in which willing military personnel can learn extreme off-road driving. On the training ground, the terrain of which is close to the state of roads in combat areas, instructors conduct training on proper movement in a convoy, movement at low and high speeds, as well as four-wheel drive without brakes.
Soldiers are given advice on how to maneuver during ascent/descent, what to do for safe evacuation. The boys are also taught to act as a team, freeing each other from traps. Instructors share life hacks for driving on sand, washed-out dirt tracks.
Krzysztof Kopala, a Polish off-road instructor, notes that it is very important to organize such training not only for the military, but also for volunteers. After all, those who often deliver aid to areas of hostilities can get into field conditions. Therefore, it is worth being able to maneuver an SUV both on asphalt and on a dirt road.
Until February 24, 2022, the training ground was used for extreme driving training for all those willing, for sports off-road competitions of an international level. Now they spend the weekend herefree trainingfor volunteers and military brigades working on the front lines. During the 20 months of the war, the Offroadbrothers sports club organized courses for more than 1,000 people.
