Not so long ago, the Korean car company Hyundai announced the release of a new Hyundai Santa Fe crossover with an improved appearance and technical equipment.

Significant updates were made to the front protection, two-level T-shaped daytime running lights and a radiator grille visually combined with the running lights. They did not forget about the stern of the car: the rear lights were combined with a red stripe. In addition, 20-inch wheels were installed for the first time for Santa Fe.

They did not deprive the motor part of the car of changes. Now, the crossover includes two engines:
the first is a turbocharged diesel with a volume of 2.2 liters and a capacity of 202 horsepower;
the second - a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 281 hp.

Transformations also took place in the cabin: the console and central tunnel were changed, and instead of the standard gear lever, a push-button control panel was installed, as in the Hyundai Palisade. There was also a Terrain Mode system selector, which allows you to choose a certain driving mode from among the many available.
The digital dashboard (diagonal -12.3 inches) replaced the analog one, and a 26 cm multimedia system touch display was installed on top of the central console.

The technical parameters of the restyled crossover have not yet been fully disclosed. However, it is known that the updated Santa Fe is built on the "new third-generation platform", which it shares between the Sonata sedan and the Sorento crossover of the last generations.
The architecture of the chassis is the same: McPherson struts in the front and multi-link in the back, but the Koreans promise a reduced center of gravity, a different location of the steering rods for better handling, and improved noise and vibration isolation.

In South Korea, the Hyundai Santa Fe crossover will appear already this summer, and in Europe - around September of this year.
