How to check penalties?

After the introduction of automatic recording of violations of traffic rules, many drivers faced a problem - there is a risk of not knowing about the fine. Notifications of enforcement are sent to the address of the car owner's registered address. But if the car is used by proxy or the owner lives far from the place of registration, you may not receive a notification of a fine for a traffic violation at all. But modern capabilities allow you to check this thanks to convenient services in your smartphone.

How to check fines online

1. In the action application. To display fines in the application, you need to download it, log in and add your driver's license or technical passport to the system. Then notifications about the fine will come in the form of a message to the phone. You can also open the application, go to the "Services" menu, then select the category "Penalties for violations of traffic rules". After that, a field with information about the absence of charges or their list and details is visible. Here you can choose a payment method and pay the fine.

2. Through Privat24 or Monobank. In the Privat24 bank application, follow the sequence of actions "Services" → "Payments" → "Fines and violations". To search, you can use the identification code (RNOKPP) of the car owner, vehicle number or series and number of technical passport, vehicle number.

   

   In the Monobank application, fines by car number are checked in the section "Other payments" → "Fines for traffic violations". Search by series and ordinance number, or enter a vehicle number to add it to the system. She will continue to monitor the proceedings and inform you about the current state of affairs.

3. Electronic driver's office. This is a government online service that contains all the necessary information about your vehicle. Authorization will require an Action-Signature, confirmation through one of the banks or an electronic digital signature (EDS), which can be obtained in the Privat24 application.

4. Telegram bot. "Traffic fines" became a very popular channel in the Telegram messenger. By adding a vehicle license plate + an identity document, you can not only find out about fines. There is also an option to subscribe to the newsletter about new charges and get help if you have additional questions.

5. Traffic fines mobile application of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukrainefor Android and iOS. Here you can track current proceedings issued for the car, future fines and pay a fine if there is one. And also check the location of cameras for automatic video recording of traffic violations.

6. On the website of the GSC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We go to the service and enter the car number and information about the owner of the vehicle. The system provides the service "checking a car for fines", here you can see their size, description and photo report.

Please note that within 10 days from the time of committing the offense, you can pay 50% of the fine amount. And in case of non-payment within 30 days, the offender becomes a debtor.

You can pay the fine not only online, but also in cash. This can be done at any branch of the nearest bank. However, if there is usually no commission during online payment, then you will have to pay it at the checkout (up to 2% of the payment amount). You can also pay in cash through the top-up terminal.
