The Chinese automaker is developing a model of its own pickup, which it plans to sell both in the Chinese market and in other countries. Recently, patent images of this car appeared on the network, from which it is possible to draw a conclusion about its appearance.
The model is planned for launch in the third quarter of next year. At the moment, only the working name of the car is known -Geely high-end commercial vehicle SC02, but it is known that the SUV will stand on the crossover platformGeely Haoyue.
Judging by the available data, the future Chinese pickup will belong to the class of compact pickups and will appear in the model range of one of the brands owned by Geely, such asMapleorFarizon.
"Truck" will go exclusively toDual Cabversion (four-door version), and the length will be a little more than 5 meters. In addition, it is known that it has a carrying capacity of 700-800 kg. Will drive the cargasoline turbo engine, volume 1.8 l. at 184 hp and 300 Nm of torque. The engine is planned to be equipped with a 7-speed gearbox with two clutches and a choice of all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive only.
