Halogen, xenon, or LEDs

Halogen lamps are gradually displaced by new solutions — LEDs and xenon. Xenon headlights are heated several times less than halogen. They are characterized by a powerful and very bright light flow. Among the disadvantages is a small increase in fuel consumption, a fairly high price.

LEDs are very economical, characterized by bright light that is close to the natural. The main disadvantage is the sensitivity to the voltage jumps that can significantly shorten the service life.

Recommendations on the choice of car light 

The ideal option for the SUV is the combination of scattered nearby and directed distant light. With additional optics, you can increase the area of ​​visibility per kilometer.

To illuminate nearby objects, an LED beam is optimal. It is placed on the roof. An alternative option is a cascade of headlights in the front of the vehicle. If you have to cross water bodies on the way, it is still worth stopping at roof lights. It is installed on the roof rails or trunk.

In the process of choice, make sure that the headlights do not light in the base area. Otherwise, the glow of water or dirt can stick the driver.
