Reinforced ventilated brake disc for 5000 Audi S4/S6 2.7 99+ DBA5575SR

The reinforced ventilated brake disc from D.B.A. is used in Audi S4 / S6 vehicles from 1999 onwards for driving on rough off-road conditions. The notches clean the disc from pad dust, eliminate the washed-out effect and provide "coke" on the pad.

The unit is cooled by the high-tech Kangaroo Paw system. It was developed, patented and is now manufactured by Disc Brakes Australia. This system consists of 144 diamond-shaped and teardrop-shaped baffles that are equally spaced between the surfaces of the equipment.

This design has the following advantages for the disk

• fast cooling due to the centrifugal force principle : when the disc rotates, small air vortices form around all the baffles, which increase the removal of heated air from the interior of the disc;
• improved spatial structure achieved through the use of properly positioned baffles.
