The brake discs of the Australian manufacturer D.B.A. are used in harsh extreme conditions under the control of Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 cars from 2014. The notches help to clean the rim from pad dust, eliminate the washed-out effect and the presence of "coke " on the pad.

The equipment is cooled by the high-tech Kangaroo Paw system. It was developed, patented and is now manufactured by D.B.A. This system includes 144 diamond-shaped partitions and droplets that are evenly spaced between the surfaces of the unit.

This appearance has the following advantages for the disk:

• accelerated cooling due to the centrifugal force principle: as the disk rotates, small air vortices are created around all the baffles, which increase the removal of heated air from the interior of the disk;
