It utilizes the brand's proven design standards, including one-piece front and rear crossmembers combined with precision-machined ductile iron knuckles. The knuckles are designed to work within the factory traction control system limitations and provide factory-like handling characteristics. The knuckles are also significantly more reliable in terms of both strength and load capacity.

TheBDS High Clearance crossmembers are made of 1/4-inch thick laser-cut steel for maximum ground clearance and strength. The relocated differential is protected by a special plate that connects the crossmember together. The system also includes new stabilizer bar links to correct its geometry.

The rear of the kit contains all the components needed to level the pickup and center the axle in the wheel well. This includes a 4-inch block, U-bolts, and brackets to relocate the brake line. Rear shocks from Fox 2.0 series are included in the BDS lift kit for Toyota Tundra.
