The reinforced brake disc is manufactured by D.B.A. It is used in Audi S6 2.7 cars from 1999. The equipment works well both on asphalt city streets and in lifeless deserts.

Improved notches clean the disk from dust on the pads, remove the washed-out effect and provide pad "coke".

The Kangaroo Paw ventilated cooling system, developed and patented by D.B.A., includes 144 teardrop- and diamond-shaped baffles evenly spaced between the surfaces of the unit. This architecture guarantees rapid heat removal due to centrifugal operation: the rotation of the disk is accompanied by the formation of small air vortices that accelerate the exit of heated air from the disk, near all the baffles;

Also, the production of the unit includes the addition of carbon (XG-150 ) and TSP to cast iron to increase its heat resistance during sudden braking. This has a positive effect on the service life of the brake disc.
