Description

Reinforced panhard rod for the rear axle on Niva 2121-2123

A transverse bar that strengthens the suspension structure of the vehicle and thus prevents the axle rigid beam from shifting to the side. The part is made of thick-walled pipe only.

This element is quite common in use for cars with distorted body geometry. Also, when car owners put the rear springs in an undersized version, which sags the car. Such factors lead to a shift in the rear axle of the car to the left or right.

To prevent all these elements of imbalance in the car's structure, special panhard rods are installed. This allows the vehicle to move steadily, without shifting to the sides relative to the off-road axis, i.e. the axle beam is fixed in a fixed state.

This simple spare part consists of a rod that runs across the body, with cylindrical joints with axles. The tie rod axles are parallel to the vehicle axles, and the joints are in turn attached to the SUV frame and to the axle beam.
