June 17 officially debut a new BT-50 pickup from Mazda. The car was built on a platform converted isuzu d-max and presented during a direct broadcast in Thailand.
The most important changes were befell the motor portion of the pickup. Now the car includes a modernized three -liter diesel, a capacity of 190 horsepower and 450 nm of torque. The engine works productively with both mechanical and automatic transmission. In addition, the expansion of the motor range and the appearance of rear and all -wheel -drive modifications are expected.
dimensions BT-50 almost match the size of the D-Max platform and make up:
- length - 528 cm;
- width - 187 cm;
- Height - 179 centimeters, with wheelbase parameters of 312.5 cm
Concerning the interior, the placement of a central tunnel and console, a multimedia system with a 9-inch screen, an adaptive cruise control and dashboard, a new Mazda borrowed from its famous donor-ISUZU D-Max.

So far, the Japanese carmaker keeps the key technical parameters of the transformed pickup - the load on the body and fuel consumption (their announcement is planned closer to the starting start).
Sales of the new Mazda BT-50 will start from the Australian market in the second half of this year. The car will be manufactured at the same Tailand plant as its donor. When a pickup appears in Europe yet it is not known.
