Before you start installing the Schnorkel, you need to take care of the necessary tools and supplies. Typically, installation is not without the following adaptations:

10 mm drilling and a 4-mm drill;

electric jigsaw;

polyurethane sealant;

anti -corrosion primer;

paint tape;

rulers;

marker;

a gun;

toolkit prepared - you can make an installation consisting of the following steps:

First of all - we remove the wheel and protection of the wings located on the side of the mounted swirling. To lift the car use a jack;

Further - disconnect the airfilter and a pipe responsible for air injection;

Then - we determine whether the swirling is tight to the car. To check this - we attach it to the body, mark the contours and evaluate the openings;

Further - measure the diameter of the inlet gap on the schnarkel (apply a mark in the form of a circle of the corresponding diameter (plus 1-2 mm));

In the middle of the circle, drill the gap using a 4mm drill. After that - we make a hole in the previously specified diameter;

Do not forget about fastening the body part. Using a drill, 10 millimeters long, make cracks in the wing of the car and treat them with a primer at the edges;

Follow this - install the outer air intake and fix it with bolts;

We finish the installation by treatment with the sealant of the input nozzle and connect it (use the corrugation) with the airfilter tank. Two edges of corrugation are securely tightened with clamps.

Important! Make sure you check the Snarkel for serviceability. To do this, start a car engine and put a plastic bag in the head. If all is well with tightness, the bag will break under the flow of air that sucks Schnorkel. Otherwise, re -inspect all the connections and seal them.
