Mazda showed a new BT-50 pickup of 2025

at the official presentation in Australia, Mazda has introduced a new BT-50 design. The car underwent restyling and received a CX-5 crossover style. The release of the updated frame pickup on the market is scheduled for 2025.

designers have reworked the exterior to make it more in line with the current Mazda corporate style. The front of the changed radiator grille and updated LED headlights immediately flows into the eyes. Also a little bit of bumpers, the body doors received a slightly different sparkle, the back optics became more modern, retaining the former shape.

interior

salon also received its rejuvenation dose. Everything here in the spirit of time - the monitors become larger, the multimedia is more functional. A 9-inch diagonal was installed on the central console, and a 7-inch display acts as a dashboard. BT-50 now supports wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, which has already become a gold standard in the industry.

Equipment

The most equipped version of pickup will be available such useful functions as non-clavial access, two-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, rear-view chamber, seat heating. For the first time in BT-50, a semi-automatic traffic system in the traffic jams and a signs recognition system will appear for the first time.

Facelifting cannot be called radical, the new design is the evolution of the previous one. However, these small changes successfully "refresh" the pickup and bring it closer to other Mazda cars. At the same time, according to the technical part of the pickup Mazda BT-50 has little with its brothers on the brand. Since it is built on the ISUZU D-Max platform and is produced at one plant in Thailand.

Specifications

Power units will be inherited from the adjacent version. Buyers will be available to choose from two four -cylinder rowed diesels - 1.9 liters and 150 hp, as well as 3.0 liters and 190 hp. As a transmission are offered "mechanics" and "automatic", both gearbox have 6 gears.

Down -road versions with full -wheel drive, downs and a differential blocked are available. The machine can carry up to 1065 kg of cargo in the body.
