Baja Spain Aragon 2025: how tuned SUVs and pickups conquered the Spanish off-road terrain

The legendary Baja Aragon race in Spain, held from July 25 to 27, once again confirmed its status as one of the most spectacular stages of the World Cup. The 41st race in Teruel went down in history thanks to the incredible drama in the overall standings, where the winner was decided by just two seconds, as well as the fierce competition and unexpected results in other classes — from motorcycles to trucks.

Drama at the finish line: Toyota Hilux snatches victory from Dacia and Ford

The main intrigue unfolded in the elite T1+ class. Nasser Al-Attiyah led for almost the entire distance, but on the final special stage, his Dacia Sandrider encountered technical problems. The legendary racer managed to reach the finish line, but the time lost was enough for his rival to take the lead. The Portuguese Toyota Gazoo Racing crew, João Ferreira and Filipe Palmeiro, brilliantly seized the opportunity in their Toyota Hilux and snatched their debut victory by a narrow margin. Racing veteran Nani Roma of Spain finished third in his Ford Raptor.

Sensations in other classes: the triumph of the Isuzu D-Max and unexpected winners

The competition was no less intense in other categories. In the most popular class, Challenger (T3), where 39 crews took part, there was a real sensation: the victory went to 24-year-old Luxembourgish driver Charles Munster (Taurus T3 Max). In the Stock class, the Portuguese duo of Fernando Barreiro and José Sá Pires triumphed in their reliable Isuzu D-Max, which put them in first place in the overall World Cup standings in their category.

In the truck category, the Czech crew of Martin Macík once again proved their skill, while Spaniard Lorenzo Santolino took the victory among the motorcyclists. This race proved once again that the Baja is always an unpredictable test of endurance for both the vehicles and the drivers.

From the track to tuning: how to prepare your SUV for the test

Races of this level, such as the Baja Aragon, clearly demonstrate the importance of the reliability of each component of the car, and first and foremost, the suspension. It is the suspension that takes the brunt of the impact of off-road driving. That is why at Vnedorognik.ua, we pay special attention to professional spare parts, including those from brands that have proven themselves in extreme conditions, such as the legendary Fox shock absorbers and heavy duty Old Man Emu (OME) suspension kits.

But real preparation requires a comprehensive approach. For serious expeditions, we offer durable canopies, powerful winches, and indispensable sand tracks. Properly selected equipment can turn your standard pickup truck or SUV into a highly maneuverable vehicle ready to conquer any off-road terrain.

Even if your vehicle won't be participating in the Baja Aragon, high-quality components from Vnedorognik.ua can significantly improve its capabilities and reliability, bringing it closer to that of a real sports car.
