Front shock absorber assembly with OME BP-51 spring for TOYOTA HILUX 05-15 BP5190001R

Unlike many other shock absorbers that provide compression-only adjustments, the BP5190001R range allows for independent adjustment of both rebound and compression on the vehicle, offering best-in-class ride settings that can be adapted to the individual requirements of the vehicle when driving.

While most shock absorbers create damping only on the basis of fluid flowing through the piston, BP-51 offers an alternative path from one chamber to another around the piston in the form of bypass passages. Some of the fluid flows through the piston, while some bypasses it through the bypass channels.

This leads to the fact that the shock absorber provides a better driving experience: comfortable and flexible movement during a normal trip and more controlled over more difficult terrain. As the level of damping created at each end of the stroke increases, the piston slows down as it approaches full compression and extension, preventing it from tipping over suddenly and allowing it to absorb larger bumps and potholes more easily.
