Ajax ReX 2: Maximize communication and protect your security system

An intelligent signal range extender is an important component of the Ajax Systems security system. It is designed to ensure reliable communication between all AJAX devices.

With dimensions of 163 × 163 × 36 mm and weighing only 330 g, it has a compact design and can be easily installed indoors. The device's protection complies with the IP50 standard, which means it is resistant to dust. It operates in an operating temperature range of -10°C to +40°C.

ReX 2 uses the radio frequency range of 868.0-868.6 MHz. The maximum radio signal power is 20 mW and the transmission range is up to 1700 meters.

Therange ext ender supports two radio protocols - Wings and Jeweller:

• Wings is used to transmit events and alarms.
• Jeweller uses block encryption based on the AES algorithm and provides two-way communication between devices.
