The CTEK XS 0.8 model is considered to be the smallest in the STEK brand's line of chargers. It is designed to recharge the batteries of echo sounders, lawn mowers, motorcycles with a voltage of 12 volts. It can also be used for preventive charging of vehicle batteries. The device has built-in protection against short circuits, pole misalignment, and sparking. This model is covered by a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer of charging stations STEK.

The device provides 6 stages of modes:

1. Desulfation. The voltage is supplied in the form of pulses, due to which sulfates are removed from the surface of the internal plates. The procedure helps to restore battery capacity.
2. Charging. The maximum possible current is used, the battery capacity is filled to 80%.
3. Absorption. The current level gradually decreases, charging reaches 100% of the battery capacity. At this stage, the battery is ready for use.
4. Diagnostics. The charger checks the battery for its ability to hold a charge. If the result is negative, the battery needs to be replaced.
5. Buffer mode. The battery is supplied with a constant high voltage.
6. Charging by pulses. The charger monitors the voltage level and pulses the battery from time to time to keep the capacity from falling below 95%.
