Chevrolet has transformed the Silverado Ev electric pickup into a powerful racing SUV for the competition. The new Silverado EV Zr2 is created to participate in The MINT 400, one of the most difficult off-road races in Nevada, which are considered a mini-version of the legendary Baja 1000.
Electric pickup for a race with extreme off -road
The main feature of the sports version of ZR2 was the new three -motor power unit, which develops 1085 hp. and 15600 nm torque. For comparison, the standard electrical silverrade is equipped with a pair of electric motors, which in the amount of 750 hp. and 1064 nm. The difference is impressive!
To prepare a pickup for a race, chevrolet engineers equip it:
- a lift suspension with adaptive multimatic shock absorbers;
- increased to 33 cm of suspension stroke for improved patency;
- Protecting the bottoms against strokes on stones and obstacles;
- Blocked Differentials for Maximum Adhesive to the surface.
In addition, pickup has received 37-inch off-road tires that surpass the 35-inch tires of the new version of Silverado Ev Trail Boss, which comes on sale in the summer.
