The device supports 8 charging stages:

1. Desulfation - if there are sulfates on the lead plates, the charger removes them by applying pulsating voltage and current;
2. Soft start - the battery is tested for charging capability, if the battery is faulty, then further manipulations are pointless;
3. Main charging - the maximum current is used, the stage ends at 80%;
4. Absorption - charging up to 100%, the current gradually decreases;
5. Analysis - the battery is tested for charge retention, failure to pass the test is a reason to dispose of the battery;
6. Recovery - controlled "boiling" of the electrolyte to improve its structure and restore capacity, the stage can be turned on/off at will;
7. Buffer mode - supporting charging of the battery with a constant voltage level;
8. Pulse mode - the charger periodically supplies 5A current pulses to the battery, the device monitors the battery status and charges it as needed.

The latter modes are relevant for seasonal battery storage.
