Ajax ReX range extender (black) is an important component of the Ajax Systems security system. It is used to enhance and extend communication between different Ajax devices in the room.

Its main function is to transmit wireless signals between motion detectors, door opening detectors, smoke detectors, etc. and the centralhub. It amplifies the radio signal and ensures reliable communication over a long distance.

In addition, ReX can be used as a backup communication channel in case the main communication is disrupted or interrupted.

Its dimensions are 163 × 163 × 36 mm. This device uses the radio frequency band 868.0-868.6 MHz and has a maximum radio signal power of 20 mW. ReX is designed for indoor use and has an IP50 rating, which means it is dustproof.

The ReX package includes the device itself, the SmartBracket attachment panel, a power cable, an installation kit, and a quick start guide. ReX is installed indoors.
