Ajax Hub 2 Plus is a device designed to monitor the security system in private homes, businesses, shopping and office centers. When connected to MotionCam motion detectors, the control panel instantly sends photos to the app on your smartphone or tablet. The device can be connected to video surveillance cameras and various types of detectors, depending on your needs. The cameras are turned on only after receiving an alarm signal, which significantly saves energy.

Features of the second-generation Ajax hub setup

The device is powered by a powerful ARM processor, which allows it to process data coming from 1 to 200 devices. The hub can be operated in rooms with a humidity level of up to 75% and an ambient temperature of minus 10 to plus 40 degrees Celsius. The model is designed for indoor installation.

Ajax Hub 2 Plus uses Ethernet as the main channel. If cable installation is difficult, an alternative in the form of Wi-Fi can be used. There are 2 SIM cards as a backup notification channel. Switching between different channels is automatic.

The hub communicateswith detectors and cameras via radio using the Jeweller protocol. The maximum signal range is 2000 meters. The signal can be strengthened using a range extender. The system constantly scans the airwaves for detector availability and the absence of interference. It is reliably protected against tampering. When interference is detected, Ajax Hub 2 Plus immediately switches to a new frequency.

The controlpanel allows you to create up to 64 application scenarios:

scheduled arming of the security system;
power outage in case of fire or flooding;
switching on emergency lighting in case of an alarm, etc.
