Toyota has officially unveiled the new Land Cruiser FJ — the youngest member of its off-road family. The premiere took place at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, with sales expected to begin in mid-2026.
The model joins the Land Cruiser lineup alongside the 300, 250 and 70 Series, bringing back the classic SUV philosophy — simplicity, reliability and readiness for adventure.

Its short wheelbase improves maneuverability, while the classic frame inspires confidence on mountain roads and sandy trails — a true Land Cruiser character in a smaller body.
Design and Interior
The FJ follows the Prado 250’s design language but with even bolder proportions and simplified forms. Short overhangs, a tall hood and robust cladding create a tough, functional look.

Positioned between the Hilux Champ and Prado 250, it offers genuine off-road construction at a reasonable price. Competitors include the Suzuki Jimny XL and several crossovers, but the FJ stands out with its ladder-frame platform.
